Growing up Josh was very fortunate to be raised in a musical household. Josh’s piping journey began at the age of 13 where he received onset world class tuition at Haileybury College.

Being surrounded by bagpipes everyday, combined with the growing passion has lead Josh to turn his piping into a full time proffessional career within 6 years. While Josh is always out teaching and performing, he still manages to compete not only in Australia but overseas as well.

Some of Josh's biggest accomplishments to date include:

- 2017 NZ Silver Chanter winner.

- 2017 NZ Second Place Former Winners MMSSRR Clasp.

- 2018 overall A Grade Victoria Champion Melbourne Australia.

- Overall C Grade Champion at Cowal Highland Gathering Scotland.

- 4th Place Macgregor Memorial Piobreachd at the Argyllshire Gathering Scotland 2018.

- 1st Place Intermediate MSR at the Argyllshire  Gathering Scotland 2018.

- 3rd Place C Grade Piobreachd Inverary Highland Games Scotland.

- 3rd Place 40th MacCrimmon Trophy Competition Lorient France.
